ChatGPT: A Conversation About AI, ML, Automation & Creativity

Over the past week, I have been seeing a lot of posts about the fascinating technology known as ChatGPT. This Artificial Intelligence tool optimizes language models for dialogue, but it is so much more than that. As a creator, I am enchanted with the AI’s ability to answer complex questions in clear and concise conversation.

As we continue to explore the frontiers of AI, machine learning, and automation, we must consider the potential implications. For example, I have been working with my Attorney to draft a contract for creatives who will be working with the Bureau of Creative Intelligence. I turned to ChatGPT and asked, “What are the key elements of a good contractors agreement for creatives?” Within seconds, I had a complete outline of what was necessary. Then I commanded, “Write a contractors agreement for creatives,” and within 15 seconds, I had a draft that I had been working on with my attorney for a week.

Mundane jobs are becoming obsolete as machines advance and give us back our most valuable asset: time. As a creative, I have been having a conversation with ChatGPT about this topic, and I hope that it will be as insightful for you as it has been for me.
