Truth Is, We’ve BEEN In The Metaverse

It’s always interesting to me when I hear people talk about the “Metaverse” as if it’s something that’s “coming”. Where even more odd than that is when I hear people say: “I dunno how healthy it will be for people to be living their lives in some Metaverse…”

Fact is, we’ve all been (for the most part) living in the “Metaverse” since about 2003 with the emergence of MySpace. Spending countless hours in the digital platform, sharing our lives on a consistent basis. As other platforms emerged, Facebook, Twitter, our immersion increased and even MORE of our lives…
